Fine jewelry will tarnish and age naturally so if you want to keep your pieces in the pristine condition, please keep them away from heat/cold, chemicals, direct sunlight, water, etc. 

Do not swim in the pool or ocean with your jewelry. Chlorine is known to tarnish chemicals.
